Yes its H1.

Those Ebay projectors are hit-and-miss. Some are OK, others are crap.

That link is in the Lighting FAQ along with a link to installing this projector version:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearanc...hting-faq.html

There is plenty more info there on other options and headlight upgrades.

Got the HIDs in, they are fairly bright. Not a huge difference. Probably because they are only 35w. But the headlights came out awesome!

Im different ya im different.

this is on my list of things to do for my 94z. my DD is a 96 k1500 that has those style composite headlights. the low beams are 9006 and high beams are 9005 bulbs. i put 8000k HIDs in the lows on my truck and love them. very white with a hint of blue. what hood is on the blue car? both cars look sick

I'm sorry but 8000k is nowhere near white with a hint of blue, white with a hint of blue is 6000k, 8000k is blue.

Her car is actually bright teal metallic, it just looks blue because it's dark.

Her hood is a cowl, maybe 2"

I know this thread is dead but I'm bringing it back. Does anyone know of any of these lights with two circle halos instead of one circle and one oval? I think the oval looks kind of weird.

There are no cutoff shots, but I'm guessing the HIDs didn't make a difference because those projectors are crap and most of the light is scattering everywhere - blinding other drivers - instead of be directed down toward the road. Either that or it was a very crappy, cheap HID kit on ebay...

I do think in daylight they look better though, but I personally wouldn't have wired in the halos and that random middle LED.

Typically the projectors in most ebay housings are crap (especially if they take a H3 bulb).

However, I will reserve judgement until I see output shots showing the beam pattern.

Although, you could probably replace the projectors in those housings with a better OEM HID projector from another car (TSX, RL, RX330, etc) or an aftermarket HID projector like Morimoto.
