Default Do C4 seats bolt-in to F-bodies?

Has anyone ever done it? I've been told twice now that they just bolt-in, but I ain't gonna waste my money if I don't have to.

I've heard the same thing but I've obviously never tried it. Supposedly all F-Body seats from all years are interchangeable and the C4 seats will bolt right up to F-Bodies also.

I know the C5s bolt in and have heard as well that the C4s fit... but the C4s have the power seat controls remote mounted in the console. That has kept me wondering about the swap myself. I love the late model C4 seats and have wanted a set for a long time, but this detail keeps me on the fence. Especially since I don't like the look of the switches and wouldn't want to fab them into my console even if I found a way.

I know the C5 seats won't directly bolt in. A lot of people have tried that. If they did I'd have a set already.

Okay, I stand corrected...
BUT, it can't be too hard, I have seen more than several F-cars with C5 seats!
One had a pair in front and a pair out back.
If you want them that bad, they are almost bolt in if you can do simple mods. 1 hole needs elongated or something like that, don't remember exactly.
I have seen 1 Z with C4 seats, but it was online and there was no explaination of how it was done. Looked sweet.

Yeah, I've seen that one too. Lol. Don't know who the owner is or how he did it. I wish I knew.

Well I really hope it is that easy. They are not cheap seats though so I'd hate to get a set and them not work. That's why I haven't done it yet.

It shouldn't be to hard to just fabricate something for it if needed. I'm sure they are close enough that there won't be any major work needed. Or like I said just buy a universal adapter that's why they make them.

I was thinking of getting the seats I want, C4, then swapping the F-car bottom frame and power portion onto the 'new' seats.
I have no idea how hard this would be, but I will try anything... I am a glutton for punishment, it would get done, but I might have high blood pressure when it's over.
