Default I want your opinion on my engine bay appearance idea.... carbon fiber theme!

I am building a Procharged 376 for my 2002 trans am. The car is red. Planning to have the engine bay painted while the motor is out. For the rest I this is what I have in mind.

Black Carbon fiber intake pipe
Black carbon fiber coil brackets
Fast 102mm black carbon or leave it along? I would leave the lettering as is either way
Black carbon fiber valve covers
And RED carbon fiber coils

Just looking for opinions and if you guys recommend doing anything else in there or anything at all!!!!

Got any pics of similar themes on a red f-body? Hard to envision the end product without some comparison pics

What are you doing with the rest of the engine, I guess my thought is with all that black together unless it has something to contrast with its gonna blend into a solid black mass in the engine bay rather than being the centerpiece if that makes sense.

I like the idea, but I think id need to see it to pass judgement, or maybe give it someting else to pop against. Like painting the heads and block silver.

black and red look great together, but a little can go a long way

black block and heads (or silver) along with the black fiber Valve covers would definetly draw you in, but Id go with silver (polished or satin) brackets and red coils and maybe do the intake red as well. then do the intake and tube in black fiber. I think that would be a pretty good balance.

What are doing for fuel rails to feed that procharged 376

I like the idea you've come up with, I think it will look good. That slp lid looks killer!

Are you wrapping stuff or hydrodipping stuff? Personally, I think the hydrodipping stuff looks terrible in carbon fiber on pieces with alot of edges or curves.

Engine bay is where "less is more" really stands true, IMO.

If its wrap, I wonder how that would hold up to the heat?

Planning to do have it hydrodipped. The block will be painted with aluminum paint. Same with the water pump. This actually looks really good I have used it before. I was planning to do the coils on the red carbon fiber to make those pop and break it all up.

Sounds like way too much fake carbon fiber for my tastes.

Looks cool, get the 6liter eater carbon fiber exterior roof and hood too. Post pics when it's all buttoned up
