Default Paint question: how much?

I'm about to repaint my '99 Z28. I've done it before on other cars, and the method I used was to order a ton of base enamel, and a ton of clearcoat. This time, however, the paint I'm going to use is almost $300 per pint. No WAY I'm ordering via my usual method. Can anyone tell me how much paint is needed to cover our cars (assume five coats)?

House of Kolor Kameleon. It's a pricey little item. But the effect is beautiful.

They used 5 pints of bright red base to cover my hood, front fender, rear fenders, deck lid, and spoiler that just got painted 3 days ago (install of a SS hood and SS wing). That was $74 per pint. So probably another quart to cover the rest of the car. That does not include the reducer or the clear coat. That was 2 coats of base.

Thanks, B4C. That's the answer I was looking for. Now to convince the wife...
