Default Cleaning and painting interior?

I have been working on the interior of my car, replaced the head liner, dash and old radio to an 01 Monsoon H/U. The center Console and interior carpet are next on the list. The interior plastics, like the kick pannel, sail pannel peaces have a good amount of dirt on them and dont look so great. I want to take them out and clean them real good, what should I use? I also so an 02 TA with a tan and black two tone interior, I thought it looked great. Is there any way to paint the tan peaces to a graphite color that it wont look rice but factory? I saw some interior dye stuff for restorations once. I want a factory look.

People use the dye to redo classic car interiors. Dont know if any one has tried it on a 4th gen.

I don't know if any sponsors offer this. I might get lashed for this but RKSport makes a kit specific to our cars. It has all the cleaners and dyes.

That is the camel interior. 2 tone and the tan was unique. Quite a bit darker than the neutral/tan/taupe common to F-cars.
It was a beautiful interior IMO.

Are you talking about the hard plastic in our cars? You can use hot soapy water or Simple Green, after that, rinse the rag out and wipe off the plastic again to get any cleaner left behind then use a protectant (I like Meguiars Vinyl/Rubber and Aerospace 303).

ok I checked with a friend and he said that you can go to an auto paint store and get the dye for the parts. If you know what color you want they can match it for you. Im going monday to find out first hand.

I think this is the interior he is talking about (attached).
The guy had a taupe interior and swapped out some parts to get the appropriate "two-tone" effect.
