Default Hockey Stick Stripe People Inside

I'm going to have a decal shop install my sprewell hockey sticks, but first I have a couple of questions. What has worked best for you when you install the decals regarding alignment? I've seen a lot of the hockey stick stripes with a wierd curve above the front wheelwell and don't want that to happen. Also, how far up should the decals go on the front fender. I can't remeber the person's board name, but whoever has the red z28 with the black vette wheels had some awesome pics on his site. Would i t be possible to get the gap measurements from your stripes and the door handles along with any other reference points like the front fender?

Thanks

Thanks guys, I dont have the sprewell stripes but before you take the paper off the sticker lay it out on your car and then tape it right where you want it. Derek on here could tell you more, he is the one that put mine on.

I would stay about 2" below the side-view mirror and 2" above the door handle - that should keep it straight - as you can see with mine I was good under the mirror but went a little high over the handle. As it tapers back it is too high, but that was my 3rd set, I'm not doing it again!

I got the emblems off ebay for $20....original 1969 emblems still in the boxes!! I used my art skills and painted the whole emblem gloss black then about an hour after paint I took a Q-tip and went around the raised outline with some paint thinner to wipe the black paint off and show the chrome again. They turned out awesome!! I turned my car back to stock because im selling it and sold everything to local ppl. I hate to see my car go but I needed something I could drive back and fourth to work but I still wanted an LS1 so I bought a cheaper one. I will be more than happy to paint peoples emblems for them if they ship them to me with a a little cash.

trim them up and then tape them up. Find where you like it best, then mark it.

Couldnt answer for the stickers. I had mine painted.. but you can see how well they follow the lines of the fender.
