Question How and what should I use to clean my car thats been collecting dust for 8 months

well my car has been sitting in a garage for about 8 months and its almost time to put the new motor in. I know I shouldnt of even let the car get like this but I had to move a few times ect. ect. Theres so much dust on the car I am not sure what to do? Is there any way I can clean the car without scratching the **** out of it? If so how and what should I use

Thanks

Most of the Dust should just rinse off, and then clean like normal, thats atleast what I do, my car sits in my dirty dusty warehouse, and it has been there for 6 months at a time so I know about dust

thanks

I figured most of it would come off but I was worried about washing after. Dont want there to be a lot of swirl marks from the dust that doesnt just rinse off and have to get the car buffed

To insure u dont have anything lingering on ure paint id do this:

1. Rinse
2. Wash car with NXT Tech Car Wash (will remove alot of tough debris and old wax)
3. Clay bar the car (will eliminate alot of the stuff you MAY NOT see on ure finish)
4. Wash car with Meguires Gold Class Shampoo (awesome stuff)

Now to restore that awesome finish you have:
1. Do one coat of Meguire's ColorX polish
2. One coat of Meguire's NXT Tech Wax

Sounds like someone needs to invest in a car cover. If you had one, it would of never gotten to this point
Shame on you!

I got one, even though my car sits for a few weeks at a time.

you could always mail yours to me if you want
