Removed rear Isolators..*Pics*(56K Kill Maybe)
Hey guys, just removed them sunday, makes a huge difference! Here is before and after shots!

Actually, I used 5/8 heater hose, I found the info on this site on the top of the spring, It doesnt make a sound, rides just like it did before just alot lower..

so far mine is awesome, no noise.. I used 5/8 heater hose to take up the gap.. Stangkillr, I think the thread is called "rear suspension question" or something like that. I think your will make more noise then mine because you are using lowering springs..see mine is factory springs..Good luck!

The rubber donut on top of the springs is nothing more than sound isolation...all you have to do when you get rid of it is get some 5/8" heater hose at Home Depot or the like and slip it on to the coil (I'd use cooking spray so it slides on nice and easy). That way, you still have rubber between the spring and the body where it rests.
Removing this donut won't affect anything dramatically...with the small amount you are lowering it, the pinion angle wouldn't change enough to hurt anything at all. My car is way lower, and I still use a stock torque arm. No problems here...will I leave the stock torque arm? No, I will eventually get an adjustable one to optimize my setup, but everything works just fine, and my car is a daily driver (40K miles on it).
