serious help needed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i was taking the baffles off my suncoast raptor hood and by accident had made a hole in the hood. i tried fixing it with some potting and using touch up paint. it can still be seen, i was wondering if this can be fixed in a body shop and what can i be expecting to pay. ill post pictures later.

WOW. You are going to have a nice little bill from a bodyshop. They will need to sand down the hood, lay a little fiberglass down to fill the hole. Smooth out, primer, paint, clear and buff. That is not going to be cheap to fix. For some reason, I didnt think the baffles were made to come out.

the tning that sucks is that after theyre done sandin and fillin....they will have to paint the whole hood, which is gonna cost a few pennies. touch up jobs never look as good.

im in central jersey. do u know a shop that can do this pretty cheap??? i dont want to get the whole hood repainted. i just want it to be filled and get touched up paint over it. i did it and it looks alright but think the shop can actually do a better job.

They would have to repair the fiberglass and like jargan04 said its not going to be cheap. If you don't want to spend the cash just fill it in the best you can and touch it up. I know I would want to get it fixed by a body shop too becuase I'm sure they could do a great job depending on where you go.

Well the fiberglass job isnt that hard, its on a flat spot, the $ will be in the paint, probably looking between $300-$500, shouldnt be more than that. It would be easier if you sanded down and fiberglassed or bondo the hole yourself it wouldnt be that hard then just bring it in for paint.
