Sorry to inform you, but silverstars are not made in T/A high and low beam sizes. Our only options are a sealed beam conversion Autooptiks or eurolites are a coulple options. Or if you get creative, you can make your own sealed beams.

You could have saved yourself some time by checking out Sylvania's website. They list all the bulbs they make and you can even search by vehicle. There are no Silverstars listed for the Firebird High and Low beams, but there are Silverstars listed for the fog lights.

You can get conversion units that allow the installation of "normal" bulbs. Eurolights (or is it Eurolites) and AutoOptics make them. Although I think AutoOptics is gone.

He has a WS6. That is what we are talking about. Sylvania makes Silverstar headlights for the Camaro, but not the Firebird.

Halogens and HIDs run hot. Dont touch the glass with your hands when installing them. You will leave oil residue on the glass which will shorten the life of the bulb.

One of my SilverStar fogs burned out in less than 5,000 miles of driving. And they don't appear any brighter than stock. Not impressed.

No because on the Firebird, they are sealed beams.
The whole glass houseing is the bulb.
You can get a conversion unit though that would allow the installation of the newer style bulbs (like the Camaro). Eurolights (or is it Eurolites) and AutoOptics make them (among others), but I think AutoOptics has gone out of business.

Also, (Correct me if I am wrong) the LT1 Camaro and Firebird both used Sealed Beam lights. Therefore the whole thing had to be replaced, it wasnt just a small bulb.

They are sealed, but you can unseal them with a heat gun and some ingenuity to pop the sealed bulb out I used silicone RTV to put the silverstars in, works great

i'm running the silverstars on my 96 z28 and i couldn't be happier with difference....just carefully remove the insert from the old blolbs and i used some high temp silocone as a precaution for a good seal...not sure if the firebird/ta are the same though

I've got conversion housings on the way so I can run Silverstars in my WS6. I hate not being able to see at night.
