Looks damn nice!!!.....I just did mine with the keyhole deleted only, looks ten times better than it did stock. Added a Hurst Equipped emblem for nostalgia. That one panel changes the entire appearance of the car I think.

Looks like you did a pretty nice job man. Hopefully you want have any bleed through issues later on with the "camaro" letters. I went ahead and removed the letters completely and then filled it in.

What did you use? sand, bondo filler, plastic primer and paint????????? What kind of paint did you use? clear coat?
looks very nice. I am going to do this. How do you take that filler off?

i did this to my rear panel, about a year ago, but havent painted it yet
i did it by cutting off the inside of the keyhole and grinding it down flat, then just layed a couple sheets of glass down on the backside. Then i filled that and the camaro letters in with body filler.

Just curious, but how would you get inside your trunk if the solenoid ever failed? I'm removing mine in lieu of a reverse camera, but I have a hatch SubThump box which won't allow me to access the inside of if mine fails.. Any alternatives that anyone can see on how I can get into mine IF my solenoid fails???
