Default Lazy way to polish a fuel rail, Whatcha think?

Here are a couple of updated pics of intake with fuel rail. I didn't polish it (fuel rail) I decided to experiment with some chrome paint. Yeah I know not the best way in the world but it turned out nice. I used High temp engine primer and then sprayed with chrome paint then used high temp clear engine paint with ceramic. The intake is polished I didn't spray that. As you can see the sprayed fuel rail and the polished intake is almost an exact match.

There are some more Pics further down the page.

Plasticoat is the brand. You can get it at most autopart stores/walmart. i did not have any luck with the duplicolor brand, it was way off.

Thanks Man, Yeah I know what you mean. I have dealt with some chrome paint before when I was a kid, when we used to paint our bikes and it was always like a flat silver cheap alumium foil look. A buddy of mine told me about this paint so I said what the hell. Now well see if it holds up under the hood. Hopefully the heat from the engine will bake it on.

takes about 30 mins to remove or so, the back bolts are the hardest to get to, if you don't mind contorting your hand to do it, its not that hard

Here are a couple more up close pic's this is as about as close as I can get with my digi to get the whole thing in the pic. Notice I made a smudge with my thumb on the ls series cover plate to show detail.

I did not paint the intake just to let you know. It is a polished weiand/lingefelter intake I only painted the fuel rail. It's not hard at all to remove and reattach the intake though. Thanks
