Default Side Exhaust

I was looking at doing an x-pipe and was thinking of running them out the side (right before the rear tire) rather than dumping it ( don't really want the drone sound) does anyone have pics of what theres look like?
thanks!

good luck i've been looking for a set up like that for quite some time....the closest i've come to it is the side exhaust kit from spintech mufflers that comes with oval pipping...but i'm not sure if it will work on our 4th gen cars

Friend of mine has a 99 T/A with a huge cam (sorry dont know the specs, but it rocks his car) stock manifolds for some reason, flowmaster single chambers in place of the cats, and 3 inch pipes running down both side. That car is so insanely loud. he let me drive it and I was scared to romp on it... too loud

I'm currently building a side exhaust for my Z28. I'll have pictures in the next couple weeks with the results.

We're doing everything from scratch including making our own tips.

dr gas x oval tubing and oval x-pipe through a 12" bullit muffler (only thing i would've change is putting the bullits before the x-pipe so i have clearnace). other than that, !CATS, and sounds damn good. if i coulda found an exit like hoss's i would done that on both sides, but for now i'm just gonna cut back the current pipes a couple inches so they arent visible
