Ive been trying to nail a color for my 94 Z . Ive got it whittled down to 5 colors . Now Im at a crossroads . I really like the 5 I have in mind equally so trying to pick one is , errrrr ...making my head hurt . Out of the 5 what do all think would look the absolute best on a 94 Z28 ?
Heres what look of the car will be :
-Stock body no ground fx
-All lights remain stock including the 93-96 tails
-OEM 98-02 SS spoiler
-OEM 96-97 SS hood
-Satin Black rear tail panel , filled CAMARO logo with a old school Z/28 emblem .
-no side emblems or side moldings
-Black roof , body color mirrors and door handles like the 00-02's
-Either 17x9.5/17x11 Fikse FM5's or TT2's with gumetal spokes in the same size , cant quite decide there either .
-Interior will be 2 tone like the light neutral interiors in the 04-up grand prix's or a 4th gen trans am that has RED or White leather . Parchment(very light neutral color ) leather with parchment/black houndstooth inserts and door panel inserts with ebony carpet and interior platic panels
~OR
All ebony inside with grey/black houndstooth inserts in the seats and door panels .
Havent decided quite yet on which of the 2 interior choice Im gonna go with , final color will decide I suppose . The fav I guess so far is SOM with the gunmetal tt2's with parchment interior accents , but I love the blues too
Oh , and 1 other thing about the body . Whatever color it ends up as . A Hockey stripe will be ghosted into the paint . I was on the fence with this one because I havent seen to many I liked because the contours of the hockey stripe didnt flow with the lines of wheel well lip or the top of the fender . I spent alot time masking out a hockey stripe that perfectly matched the wheelwell contour and the slope of the top of the fender , now I LOVE IT .
Theres alot of people in here with some pretty damn good taste , so hopefully I can get some feedback .

i vote for either of the blue colors... because ive seen a viper grey ls1 camaro and a darker grey lt1... and while they're nice colors they just dont really stand out that much to me... but then again my car has hugger orange stripes... it just depends on the look you're going for.. if you want understated and simple, the grey is a nice color.. if you want loud and noticeable, a brighter color might be in order...

my buddy has a 04' GT in what ford calls "sonic blue" i dunno if its just on the 40th edition, but its like the wrx blue but it has a little bit of a purple color shift, its sick...
if it were my car id go with the grey, it'll look awsome with the ghosted hockey stripe

My vote is for Sprial Grey and here is why:
- You say that you want to have first generation Z/28 emblems
-Also have selected either TTIIs or Fiske FM5 as your choice of rims
-And finally you have narrowed down your interior choices ebony with houndstooth or parchment with houndstooth inserts.
This seems to me to be an all around old school theme, which I think is a badass way to go about building a 4th generation camaro.
I did not choose either the blues or SOM because they would not vibe with that old school theme, those colors are too modern to work with that motif.
The problem with Audi Bright Silver is that it is, as you said, very vibrant. This color would most likely look out of place on a stock first gen Camaro, unless it was built in a modern sleek G-machine style.
SO that leaves the Corvette Sprial Gray. An excellent color choice. This would fit your theme best in my opinion.
For the interior I would choose the ebony with houndstooth inserts in the ONLY the seats because having houndstooth on the doors usually makes for a very busy interior, which can ruin a nice car.
I hope this helps, good luck with the car and let us know what you choose.
