If you had her torn down, it would be a great time to paint the block.. I've never seen a 4th gen with a painted block, like they used to back in the old days. Looks great besides.

Thanks alot ,guys . This is a replacement motor for my 00 SS and thought I'd put a little bling to it while it was out . I decided to just paint to water pump black and pulley red hope its not to much color on the engine.

Looks badass but if i were you I would look into the coil relocation bracket from thunder racing. It will make those valve covers and your engine bay look a million times cleaner, just a suggestion though.

Maybe it's the picture, but the water pump pulley looks like an orange-ier shade of red than the fuel rails and throttle body. If you could get those to match, I think it would look more in line with the rest of the theme.
I would also paint the tensioner pulley, since everything else looks so nice.
Looks really sharp overall, though.

Is that actually anodized? or is it just the paint. I painted my valve covers with that stuff they sell at the auto parts store. Looks great but doesn't like heat, turned orange on the valve covers. The TB stayed red.
