Manta
In the middle of next month I'm planning to repaint my hood and front bumper cover, stone chipped galore. I want to also paint a manta stripe on the hood and rear trunk lid. Does anyone know the dimensions of this stripe so it could be taped out properly?

There really aren't any "right" dimensions. I had an SS hood painted twice with the Manta by two different places and both turned out fine. They just have to look at the point on the hood where the scoop blends down into the flat section of the hood. However, I've seen it done wrong because the line between the paint on the scoop and the rest of the color on the hood should be right in the middle of that sloping blend. I've seen a couple Manta scoops where the shop painted it all the way down the sides too far. Hard to explain, but I'll put up some pics of mine.
Here's Tony's and Speed Inc's cars:
I personally like it without the pinstripe on the sides, but everyone's different.

I think the pinstripe kinda pays homage to the old SS style stripes, I like that (but to each their own).
As Scotty-Z said, there's no real "right" dimension for the Manta. Its just in whats appealing to your eye. Talk with your painter, bring in some pics and explain how you want it done. Then you can customize it (to some degree) and make it what you're wanting.

DAYUMN! Real nice looking cars. I think I can eyeball it and get it striped out with those. Thanks fellas. (But if there's anyone else who wants to show it, bring it.)

Plus, you can have the inside edges of the scoop done as well, like mine or the LS1Speed car. Some choose not to do this, but I think it looks better if done that way.
