Im performing the ram air mod on my ss, (the one where you yank out your black grill and get air from the two holes that are left) and i thought, why not put two leds in the housing for the intake so those to monster holes are all lit up, and i thought, well if i do taht might as well do it in the hood too? what do you guy think, i no it might look kinda ricy, but with the right color it would pry look pretty good

i hadnt really thought about color i was thinking maybe red and give it kind of an evil look, then maybe picking up a pair of red halos too nitrous is going on this car very soon so the purge is definatly going to be near this light to light it up too, but i was thinking red or maybe blue, pry red tho

If you do get led's I think that red will be too much like a cartoon. Go with a softer approach. Silver maybe?

I honestly think that 3 years from now you wont care about led's.

no its just the joy of the color pewter... Depending on the way the light hits it it turns different shades, and espically with the bumper being plastic like and the hood being metal, it stands out big time...

the red halos along with the one in the hood would look cool, id consider blue also. but wouldnt the cops harass you about? because i know red and blue neons are illegal in fl, but those are neons.

In my state you can't have red or blue lights of any type on the exterior of your car on roads. I'm pretty sure that's a national law actually. If I'm wrong I'll undoubtedly be corrected ;-)

orangeapeel has the orange/redish halo rings and he still hasnt gotten pulled over for that (knock on wood) and there are a bunch of guys running with the blue bulb for high beems taht the cops dont seem to care much about, or is that over here?

yea they are illegal here too, but my neighbor is a cop and writes off my tickets lol. i wouldnt have them on all the time either.. maybe have another light wired onto my dash to turn on the neans then wire the halos to my fogs... i was thinking and green might look good with the colo of my car at night...
