Default A bird attacked my car....

and completly my entire top half of the door. I had no idea they could cause this kind of damage to paint. I saw him standing on my car and pooping all over it, I kept moving it but he kept finding it again. There's scratches the entire length of the door... like hundreds upon hundreds but the good thing is I don't think they're THAT deep. By that I mean they're still entirely smooth to the touch but MAN do they stand out. So my question is:

What is the BEST way to get rid of these scratches besides repainting the panel, is there a product / method to get rid of these?

Oh yeah.. and if I see that bird on my car again... It'll be the last spot he ever poops in.

Turtle wax makes a black polish that works very well. the polish itself is actually black so there is less chance for swirl marks. it also comes with what they call chipstick all it is is an actual black wax made in a tube like lipstick that you use on fairly deep scratches. just use an orbital polisher or you can do it by hand and it should turn out fine

lol next time use pellets, its almost impossible for them break glass unless they travel faster than around 700fps.

put an alkeseltzer tab near your car. the bird will eat and it's insides will explode!!
wont' make a mess as the whole bird won't explode but its a horrible end to a horrible bird.
safe to say that little bastard won't be making a mess on your car again

next time you see it on your car, throw some bird seed on the ground so you can get a clear shot of it, then light that mother up.
