how to unhook foglight switch

Anybody know how to unhook the foglight switch on a T/A? I am trying to put in guage overlays and I can't get the switch unhooked.

You have to take the connector out of the switch, leave the switch its self in the gauge surround, and remove the connector from the back of the switch
