How much paint?

good deal. i have a guy i work with that does body work on the side. he said he would paint that hood and spoiler for me for like 30 bucks. i'm not sure if that's a good deal or not, but it damn sure sounds good to me. anyway thanks for the helps guys. Thumbs ups. i'll post pics when all is complete.

Pint should do fine. Remember you have to reduce the paint in a 1:1 ratio so they pint will end up being a quart of sprayable material and that will be enough no problem.

yeah 30 dolllars is all that he's going to charge me, and this guy does a really good job lol he does all the body work for evryone at work just because he's easily accessible. I've seen a lot of his work ans i think he would do a good job. I mean this guy just invested 20,000 dollars into all the equipment just to do rhino lining.

Since when? First of all it's called reducer, not thinner, and my Valspar paint gets mixed at a 1:1 ratio. Maybe you use different paint?????????????? At that ratio, the paint would run right off the surface. But then again, I've only been painting for 10 years so what do I know.

well you also have to remember that just painting the hood and spoiler the color you paint them WILL not match up unless you have a REALLY good color match guy, the only way to make it flow is to blend them into the fenders/bumper and rear hatch.
