Default Polish or paint tailpipes

I'm about to have some shiney new exhaust tips welded onto my catback. I don't want to have the dull tailpipes lessen the appearence of my car. Should I polish the pipes that lead from the catback to the tips so there kind of shiney, or just paint them flat or gloss black so they wont be an eyesore?

oh I know, dump them(ditch the tips because tips look stupid on camaros) but i guess if you had to choose, go for the polished or chrome look

I thknk there might be some confusion. I mean the tailrpipes from the catback to the tips. I just spent an hour polishing the tips themselves, they are staying shiny. The pipes are not shiney however, they are rough metal. I was wondering it I should polish them or just paint them black so they wont be noticable.

Actually, I just bought and polished these exact same tips. I love that picture too so I decided to buy those tips. Now trying to decide if I should paint or polish the pite behind them. If I paint it they will be invisible, if polished they will not look as shiny as the tipe, but will look much better than now.

I actually like the tips. I guess I feel the big dual exhaust is kind of like a badge for the big V8.

i think slash cut thin wall tips on camaros are nice, i hate chrome rolled wall thick tips, so gross.

I Think Some Guys Here Misunderstood You...if The Question Was To Paint Ot Leave The Tips The Aluminized Steel Look.....then I Would Polish The Exhaust Pipe Itself...i Did That To My Car...i Have A Custom Made 3 Inch Loudmouth And I Sanded And Polished The Actual Exhaust Piping...i Will Post Some Pics Of It Later

Corsa tips would look amazing on anything, including Camaros.
DVST8OR's car

And go with the shiny. I think the black would look really weird. Especially on a Camaro where you could easily see the pipes.

Yea, I was thinking it might be kindof funny to make the shiny tips look like there coming out of nowhere.
