license plate
Just picked up a 2000 camaro z28 last week and it has the billet grille on the front bumper. In illinois I need a front plate or the fines start to roll in. Just wondering if i'm screwed and have to take it off and go back to original or if somethings made to go over that bumper. Zip ties are getting me by for a week or two but they look horrible. Someones gotta have some good ideas.

one of my friends baught a holder for his SLP SS grille i may post pictures in two days if you want to.
it's like two "L" shaped metal you can install it under your front bumper without harming your grille. i dont really know where did he get this holder but it will help keep your grille look and prevent any drilling.

front plates are for suckers but fines are too. to many $50 fines can seriously cut into the modding budget. if you could post some pics that would be great b/c it looks horrible right now.

Well I'm pretty sure it is correctable, so I would just drive around without it and then put it on when I got a ticket so I could clear it for $10, then go back to no plate.

alright i guess i'll just have to come up with a half way good looking bracket or take it off. I hate doing this but an illinois non moving violation ticket is half the price of the grille. It would be great if someone had some pictures or advice or it looks like its going to the for sale page.

my bro got a ticket for no front plate on his z28, so he went home and ziptied one onto his billet grill and took some pictures and drove his car like that to the court appearance. they dismissed it and he took it off as soon as he got home.

yeah heres the bracket. http://www.afterthoughtsauto.com/camfronlicpl.html
do you think it would work on a billet grill, and does it just make the licence plate so its below the grille.
