Been using armor all on it eh? I can't say much I'm in the same situation after this summer. All I know of is look for a new "dash pad".

Seems that using those kind of products does something to the material that causes it to crack. Same goes for tire dressing. Just saw a set of nittos that both sides cracked on the outside and looked just fine on the inside. Looks to be an after effect. Dunno how true this is but seems to make some kind of sense

I love it when people are so incredibly vague that it makes it impossible to help them. The dash is rather large and consists of many pieces. Maybe you'd like to tell us what cracked specifically so we can make suggestions.

That's mainly because of sunlight. Not because of the product... I believe. The sunlight is what causes the dash to crack and the sunlight is why those tires were fine on the inside. Just use a windshield visor and you should be fine. Or try to park in shady areas.

So I guess the dash cracking is inevitable due to sunlight? regardless of what product we use to bling our dash. Man I hate unfolding those visors, then somehow folding it back into one tiny piece when you get back.

In regards to using Armor All i was told by an interior shop to avoid using it. My 97+ Camaro dash had some scuffs on the vinyl when i got it. I took it to the interior shop and they redyed that area of the dash and fixed the scuffs. When i was leaving they told me not to use Armor All. They said it dries out the vinyl and also deteriorates the foam underneathe the vinyl. They told me the foam would begin to fall apart underneathe that area and the vinyl would then crack on top of it.
