The best ss hood you are going to get is an OEM ss hood. I think they run just over 1,000 from plus shipping from slponline.com. Those are OEM.
However, you could probably pick up a used OEM ss hood for about $500-$700 plus shipping. That is usually the best way to go if you can find someone local to you.
Another option is the 3" fiberglass ss hood from VFN fiberglass. They are cheaper and from what I've heard, the quality, fit, and finish is pretty good.
DON"T BUY EBAY HOODS. I'd search around a little locally to see if there is anyone selling one around you. It's easier and if it's an aftermarket hood, ask them if they'll let you fit it to your car before you buy it. There are a lot of aftermarket companies out there that make them but none will guarantee the fit and very little hoods will be decent.

i also have a rk sport ss hood i think its ****. it cracked on me once already. im afraid to open my hood. i wish i had a gm ss hood. good thing i never had a girl pose on my hood, she'd fall through.......
