A piller gauge pod
Sorry i'm not quite shure where this would go but i have two questions. I plan on getting a full pillar gauge pod. Now does the color match up with the interior well or do i have to paint it. For paint should i go the color of the interior or the exterior? Now. What gauges to i put in it i'm thinking a water temp because i've heard the factory tmp gauges arn't very accurate. Now as for the other two gauges i was thinking air/fuel ratio and oil pressure or temp. i'm kinda lost here witch are the most important.

Well you already have an oil pressure gauge on the dash, so I would skip that.
I think water temp is a good one, as the only ones that had accurate gauges were the 98's. I would like to get one eventually so I can better manage how hot the car is when I go to the track.
Air/fuel is a good one, providing you do it the right way and get a wide band gauge/sensor (which can be a little pricey). The narrow band gauges (that sell for ~$55) are basically just pretty LED's bouncing back and forth.
As for a third gauge...I dunno. I much more prefer the two gauges instead of three...three is overdoing it unless you have a reason to (i.e. a nitrous gauge or boost gauge).

i say go
oil pressure(the stock ones suck and oil pressure is something that is really good to keep in check)
real wideband o2 (dont waste your money on a narrowband)
and then if you are set on 3 water temp, oil temp, trans temp if its an auto, or something like that autometer gauge that measures 0-60, 1/4 and all that cool stuff.
here is some pics so you can see the color difference
as you can see its not a huge difference i dont really ever notice it but it is there

i plan on boosting it in the future don't know how far in the future but it will get done. i So i know i'll need a boost gauge eventually. I would just need a third to fill the hole for the time being and can monitor something else as well lol

Hey navy, why is your fuel at 60 then pegged in the othe pic? (I'm trying to figure out if my fuel pump or gauge is not working)? Am I seeing things. With that said, I love my 3gauge. Looks like navy's, except my air fuel is the pretty led kind...

the first pic is when the gauge was just "dry" fitted....nothing hooked up at all and that just happens to be where the needle was when it got shipped
the 2nd pic is with it all hooked up so its at what the pressure in the line is at

sorry to dissapoint you, but they are two of the blinky ones. I originally had one and the clock, but I removed the clock and now I have one A/F meter hooked up to each O2 sensor.

A/F -- "digital" helps u to keep engine running smooth.
fuel pressure --- for n2o use.
oil press. --- 2001 r not accurate, so any mod'd (cam, valve train) needs it.

although I've got one myself(not connected any longer) the a/f doesn't seem useful unless you're running high hp (maybe 500+) & a fear of going lean. I'm considering water temp since the dash gauge is useless and maybe oil temp or such.
Anyone else?
