Default *pics of the panel and new rims* Berger panel on a red camaro?

I am doing a berger panel on my other car. It is a bright red 97 camaro and I wanted to know which color of black to use. Would it look better with a gloss black, flat black, ???? Any help would be appreciated, also pics on red cars if you have them thanks.

I think the flat black would probably look better.

Tough call - I'd do flat, but really, it's a win-win situation here...

Gloss:

I'd say Satin/Low-Gloss so that it serves the purpose of being a Berger panel (Berger didn't put any gloss black panels on their cars)...

Agreed. Even the 60's camaros with the "berger" panel used a satin black. It's the more "correct" color IMO.

I agree that satin black is more "correct" but I am not trying to pass my car off as something its not (although it does look great)

I lucked into finding a black panel off a black v6 car at the local gm yard. Just waxed it up and threw it on. I think the gloss looks nice against the red. Had a satin black on my pewter 99 and liked it alot too though...either way is nice.

satin black definently on a red car...theres gonna be too much "shine" back there if that makes any sense. i have a shiney panel on my pewter car b/c it just doesnt have that deep shine like red

QFT, Thats what I tell everyone it should be done how it was meant to be. Mines a flat black cause it looks more real then a full glossy one.

Well if you want a "real" Berger panel, it should be bumper black. That looks best IMO anyway....
