Detail: 1994 Impala SS
Now warning this is not your average detail, this isn't as good as the others on here...aka Jarrigan and ZaneO...but it only took about 2 hours and it was already dirty as pooop! I'm going to be buffing and doing a complete detail this weekend, so I wanted to post this up just to let you guys see how bad it actually was...
This car belongs to my best friend and I just wanted to take it on as a project...it has 182,xxx miles on it. He just drives it, doesn't really wash or take care of it other than the occasional vaccuming and wiping down the inside but he thinks the outside is a waste of time. Hopefully I'm going to show him otherwise. It could use a good tune up and a completely new suspension under the front end. It's completely shot, but then again it's a OLD car that's got a bunch of miles on it.
Process:
-pressure wash the gunk off
-wash with meguiars soap - X2
-dry
-meguiars quick detailer and light buffing in roughest areas
(like I said short and sweet just leading up to this weekend )

100x's better...post pics after this weekend. when u do detail it this weekend, you might want to try some PlasticX by meguiars on the head/tail lights....put some on a rag, be generous and rub the plastic in small circles. by the looks of it, id rub somewhat firmly, when done, wipe off...may need to do it a few times to get the results you want. my dads lights were yellow and scuffed up ect, looked like they came from a junk yard. spent about 10 minutes on each and now they look brand new. just thought u might want to try it. its cheap and can be picked up at walmart, autozone, o'rileys ect

I agree with everyone I absolutely love this body styled Impala.
and the car came like that, he didn't put those on.

this may be a slight exaggeration, but at least half of the high end detailers that post in this forum are in Texas .. and a good portion of them in Houston ..
pretty good bet one of us is close to you ..
