Remove the very back plastic pieces (the one's that hold the speakers).
Bend the rear carpet back out of the way.
If you need to remove the left tail light, just remove the black wing nuts
If you need to remove the right tail light, you are going to have to take out the jack and spare to reach the black wing nuts.
I hope that helps

4 per side on a TA,,,2 on each side of each taillight section. I did not have to remove my tire, jack, or even my rear side panels to get to them. The nuts will strip out very easy so be careful,,or you will need to buy some 1/4-20 machine screw nuts from the local hardware store,,they work great, and are cheap!!!

they are the plastic ( wing type nuts ) , I had to replace the power antenea and the center panel ( did both while all displaced ) with the spare tire and jack removed and both tail light assemblies (for the center panel ). Of course, this is for the 98 - 02 trans am.

Well it doesn't really matter, since the guy asking has a Camaro, not a TA and therefore only two wingnuts!
