Suede Interior from Seats to Sub Box...Finally Done!
The past 3-5 months have been VERY busy in my garage. I have had the car torn down to bare metal on the inside for some extra sound deadening and that turned into a 4 and a half month project that has involved covering nearly half my interior in suede. It started with the suede Corbeau's and then it has been all down hill from there
Quick recap of all that has been done so far, all of the following has now been wrapped in suede:
- Headliner w/ visors removed
- Door panels and speaker grills in doors
- Rear speakers and sail panel speakers
- Custom rear seat delete kit
- Sub box
- Custom amp cover that ties into the rear seat delete kit
- Holes left by removing rear seat belts (hate those!)
Not to mention the rest of the work that has gone on:
- Stripped, repainted, and cleared wheels by TropiCare Chris
- Stripped, painted, and cleared amps to match wheels
- Front bumper, headlight covers, and fenders removed and repainted
This all in preparation for the HeatWave in two weeks. Also, absolutely NONE of this was done by a shop. This was all done in my garage or friends garages. All in all I'm very happy with how it turned out and I'm hoping to take home 1st place in the Trans Am class two years in a row Lemme know what you think!
Also, pardon the messy exterior. It's been a long few months and it hasn't seen the ground in almost any of those

Thanks for all the comments so far guys! I appreciate it. Makes the work feel that much more satisfying that's for sure.
To answer a question or two, yes the car is tinted in limo all the way around. The car spends 90% of the time in the garage or in enclosed areas, so I'm not too worried about the stereo Thanks for the concern though!
Now lets just hope we can get a few more trophies to add to the shelf because of it all

Have you seen that new generation micro suede stuff? My wife conned me into buying another living room suit and the salesperson asked if i liked one particular sofa. I thought it was leather, shiny looking but when i felt it it was just like suede. The only difference i noticed was it doesn't leave lines on it when you rub your hand across it. I think it would make some nice seat covers if done right, plus you wouldn't get sweaty *** crack in the summer like leather!

The fabric itself came from Hancock fabrics online. It's considered a winter fabric, so finding it in stores is damn near impossible this time of year, but its always readily available online.

I've had a lot of people ask me about the materials and glues, etc that I used, but my PM box is suddenly empty Looks like someone hacked my account and wiped out all the messages. If you sent me one asking about the car or what I did, please resend. Sorry!
