Ammonia and tint removal
I'm in the middle of removing the tint to my hatch and i got most of it off but there are a couple of jagged pieces left and i don't feel like sitting there all day scraping them off one by one. if i were to soak the remaining tint in ammonia, leave it in the sun for a few hours, is the tint supposed to just slide off or something?

a steamer works better than any of the above mentioned, i know because i have tried. I completely removed all the tint from my 97 Camaro in about 20 minutes with a clothes steamer. it takes both layers off and doesnt leave the sticky glue behind.

just as long as you use #000 steel wool pad to get the glue off the backglass if you have rear defrost your good, just dont use a razor blade!!!!and i always use soap and water at work.
