Default Ammonia and tint removal

I'm in the middle of removing the tint to my hatch and i got most of it off but there are a couple of jagged pieces left and i don't feel like sitting there all day scraping them off one by one. if i were to soak the remaining tint in ammonia, leave it in the sun for a few hours, is the tint supposed to just slide off or something?

Get a rag and pour some brake fluid on it. Smear it all over the areas you need to remove. Let it sit for a few minutes then peel away. It works great.

The guy asked for help and I gave him a sure fire way of getting the tint off. Yes, there are other methods like a hair dryer, heat gun, etc. but that's what I would do and it would work quick. Now, if you aren't careful with it and it spills all over your paint and you don't clean that crap up, it'll mess it up.

I'm not getting my underwear all up in a bunch, just stating facts about what I said. I wouldn't suggest something to someone, that I wouldn't do.

a steamer works better than any of the above mentioned, i know because i have tried. I completely removed all the tint from my 97 Camaro in about 20 minutes with a clothes steamer. it takes both layers off and doesnt leave the sticky glue behind.
