Default Pillar Pod color question...

I'm looking to order this pod... http://store.summitracing.com/partde...part=ATM-12213 .

As you know, 98-99 trans am's have the graphite plastic interior and 00-02 has the actual black.

I'm wondering exactly what this pillar looks like in person. I am assuming it will be like the 00-02 black interior. I have a 99 with the graphite and want that color pillar pod. So can i get one in the graphite? will that one actually come graphite? Or do you guys have to paint them once you receive them to match? Thanks!

I believe all the Autometer pod pillars are black. You can go to a paint store & get some plastic dye & change the color. I had one in my old car I painted Tan to match the interior.

Anyone else know if you can get it graphite matched right from Autometer or if you must Dye it?

Go to an automotive paint distributor. They sell a product made by SEM called Color Coat. It is an interior plastic spray paint can. The color is a perfect match for the graphite (grey) interior plastics on the 99' fbodies. I painted my Camaro's triple pillar pod the same color and I couldnt tell the difference. Worth a shot for $8 a can.
