Default 94 Trans Am Shifter Console into a 95 Z28

Sounds easy enough right?? Is it? Anyone have pics or a quick description of what needs to be modified?

Nothing needs to be modified, it will bolt right in. But you will have a gap between you're radio/HVAC and the console. Why a 94 console though? The 97-02's are the ones with cup holders.

Well, I was just cruising around my work (junkyard) on the golf cart and found a couple of f-cars all in a row, 94 TA, 97 V6, 94 V6, and thats all I could find at the time...actually found 2......but later on after posting found a 99 Camaro way in the back lot with a complete console, and a few other things I may pick up as the week goes on, lol.

Thanks man!

Is it necessary to remove the brace as well for the install, or will it bolt up to the 95 Camaro brace???

It should be fine, never heard of anyone having issues with that.

Apparently the two consoles use a different mounting brace...

Needed were a console and brace out of a 97+ Camaro

The 93-96 brace needs shortening, or the 97+?
