what to use for a basic polished wheel sealant?
i dont really have access to a credit card right now and for some reason getting my debit card has taken like 2 months so far for what reason i have no idea... but i was just wondering... i plan on polishing up my polished aluminum wheels this weekend, and i dont want my finish to only last like an hour, so i was just wondering if there was anything i could use that i could get from like wal mart or an auto parts store that will work the same as what a sealant such as that zoop stuff will do? or can i get zoop or sometihng like that at a parts store?

Rejex seems to have conflicting info on their site:
Rejex PROTECTS AND BEAUTIFIES PAINTED METAL, GLASS, ACRYLIC, GEL COAT, FIBERGLASS, GLOSSY PLASTIC & POLISHED METAL SURFACES
RejeX is not meant to be used on porous surfaces, highly oxidized painted surfaces, or to fill fine scratches. RejeX can be applied in multiple coats, allowing 8 hours curing time between coats for deeper color and greater depth of gloss. RejeX has a higher 'refractive index' than waxes, so it produces richer, deeper looking colors and a lustrous long-lasting finish.
States it works on polished metals - yet is not meant to be used on porous surfaces - aluminum is a porous surface.
I have a complete Zoop Seal Kit I never used so I can't attest to the results, but it does state that it wears off eventually and needs to be re-applied. Best/cheapest method of coating polished aluminum is to clear powdercoat.
I have polished TTII's - my car is not a daily driver so I only ever polish the wheels about 1X/month. Not really needed that much - I'm just **** about how the car looks for the weekly shows. Brakes are Baer GT+ setup with Eradispeed rotors and Hawk HPS pads - I get no discernable brake dusting on my wheels with this setup.
