SS 3rd brake light question
Has anyone bought the SS 3rd brake light from ws6store??? wanting to check if your abs inop light popped on since you have to splice the wires. I really don't want to go this route and splice but I need a brake light and I also don't want to dish ridiculous money to gmpartsdirect for a brake light
If not where did you get yours from and price?

I cant find the light on their website, but what I can say is that a new 3rd brake light from GM doesn't come with the connector on it either. I replaced mine (old one had minor cracking around the 3 screw holes) with a new GM one.
I dropped the interior plastic trim on the bottom of the deck lid, found and disconnected the 3rd brakelight connector (was on the left side as you look at it from the back, attached a snake to the wire, unscrewed the 3rd brakelight and slowly worked it out. I went inside and took the connector apart and moved it over to the new lens (soldered/heat shrink-ed the pins + about 1" of the old wire), reassembled, attached the new lens back to the snake to pull it back through the spoiler, plugged it in and it worked without any hiccups. No abs inop light or anything.
Coincidentally, if you want a new lamp because yours doesn't work, my old one is just sitting around, PM me if you have any interest in it. Like I said, it has some cracking around the 3 screw holes, but its just cosmetic and you cant see it if the deck lid is shut.

I just bought a NOS 3rd brake light off of ebay for $50. Comes with connector and all, though I haven't installed it yet. I figured I'd wait till my 3rd brake light is cracked all the way.

nothing should happen. in the 94, you had to use an automotive relay (use one from your fuse box if you deleted AIR or AC) and hook the 2 ground wires to plug 85 and the 2 power wires to plug 86.
