Default real Corsa tips vs. the clones

GOOD GOD!

I got my Corsa exhaust today and I compared the tip to the clones that I bought about 6 mo. ago for my true duals....Jesus, there is a serious difference, these real ones are massive!

I guess like Porsche used to say....there is no substitute.

Yeah, the real ones look soooo much better than the clones, especially on the T/A's. They just fill the area out so much better, it's just not even close to worth the price difference.

You, know, I love those tips but frankly I don't like the sound of the exhaust. I never really used to like the tips for my Borla, but I'm slowly starting to get used to them. Although I'd ****** up a pair of Corsa's in a heartbeat if I could get just the tips.

Yup there is a huge difference between the clones and the real thing. That's exactly why I spent more to get the real thing.

Yeah, you should have taken and posted pics of both sets to see the difference before starting that thread.

Their are 2 different clones out you know. Alot of them are the 3" ones and they are small looking. Mine are 3.5" just like the real thing! I got them from a member on here. He was a sponsor...not sure anymore.

You're probably talking about C6 tips

The real corsa pro tips are the best, but not cheap I paid $150 for mine used a few years ago.

I know what your talking about and trust me, they are the same as all the other sets. They are way smaller than the real deal. Even the pictures he supplies with the tips prove that they are smaller in size to the real deal. I'm not knocking him, just clearing that up.

I think my Corsa clones are big enough. There are at least two different variations of the Corsa clones. I had both sitting in my bedroom at the same time. The smaller version has a better chrome finish, but the larger, all stainless version fits the TA bumper openings better. I paid $109 for my large Corsa clones.

BSF, that looks good. Bassani should've put those tips for their TD exhaust instead. I have the similar tips but mine is smaller.

I know I know...we need pics, but unfortunately the exhaust was pretty dirty when I got it used, so my buddy is polishing everything up at his shop. Hopefully I will have pics up by next weekend, assuming its not freakin 20* in Illinois again.

Do us a favor and measure the outside width from side-to-side on your actual Corsa tips. Mine are ~7-1/4" wide, and the individual tips are ~3-1/2".

Do you think you would be able to post some more pics of your clones please? The ones you got are the ones that im thinking of getting and would really like to see them at a different angle, if possible.

Thanks.
