Interior stinks!
Literally actually. Half is my fault... I'm a smoker, the other half, however, came from a leak I had and a nice puddle of water in the back seat of the car. It's all cloth, I was wondering if anyone had a good way to get the odors out of the interior. Thanks guys!

Re: Interior stinks!
I used a carpet cleaner and it contained amonium(sp?). I took my seats out and doused them in the cleaner. I then scrubbed them with a stuff brush. I then let them sit for about 2 hours and then went back out and blew compressed air into them and they were fine after that.

Once you go through the cleaning processes discussed above, put a box of baking soda under one of your seats, this will help with the ongoing smell of smoke. I used to be a smoker and did this, worked pretty well.

Be careful using Febreeze or any other spray deoderizer too often. When your car interior gets really hot in the sun, the residual spray will come off and stick to your windows, forming a hazy film. Also, if you use it too much the carpet will get tacky feeling.
