HID's Problem
So i put my new HID kit on that i bought from LEDvault, the fogs work just fine, and look good, the headlights dont work though, what should i check? I check the connections and made sure they were all in and tight.
I post here because you guys on this are more help than anyone in electronics.

Check the colors of the wires, make sure when you connect them the red wires connect to the red wires. They plug in both ways, so just keep flipping the connections. Is your HID ballast not marked + or - ? Make sure the red go on the plus side. Mine did the same thing, then I just flipped the connection. When in doubt just take the kit out and start over

have you rotated the plug that plugs directly into the stock wire harness. Mine didnt work because I had it the wrong way. Try rotating it 180 degrees and see what happens.

There is a plug from the stock harness that plugs into the ballast and clips on. There is one side of the ballast with a "ramp" type thing so the clip will slide up and over it easily, you DO NOT want to plug it in that way, you need to turn it so the stock harness clips over the part that looks like a raised square that isn't "ramped" or angled. It's the best way i can explain it, hope it helped or i can g take some pictures for you.
