Default HID's on my Camaro SS

Just put them in yesterday, the results speak for themselves. Just a few pics for anyone who has been thinking about getting HID's.

Encountered someone with HIDs in stock housings the other night and holy crap... talk about a disaster! Scatter all over the place blinding the HELL out of anyone and everyone within a 150 deg radius of the front of the vehicle.

Your lights look sic.

Funny...I've had my HIDs on for over a year and have NEVER had anyone flash me with their lights. Sure, I have my headlights pointed down just a tad more than stock, and it still is 1000 times better than stock. AND, they actually don't put out much more glare than the stockers do!

Here's my setup with the fogs replaced...all 10000k.

looks like you have the ebay projectors which are meant for HID's so cant really compare to stock housing... i just put in 6000k in my fogs and headlights, i get some glare out of headlights and i know ill get more light with projectors but until i get the money ill be stickin with stockers.

Actually those look like the older halo headlights which are not projectors. Also, the ebay projector housings are not made for HID. In fact, the projector they typically use in most of those is a H3 fog light projector. It handles HID better than a reflector housing, but not as good as a better halogen projector or a real HID projector.

The headlights are the older halo headlights (non-projectors). You can "barely" see the halos.

I also replaced the stock fog light housings with a pair of Hella Micro-DEs.
Worked out perfectly.
