Why do you want to go manual, that is the beauty of the automatic. It is going to shift the same every time, and that is what wins races. If you are putting an electronic transmission in an early model car with no computer, then the manual shifting makes sense. Are you having problems with the trans shifting, maybe you need a vacuum modulator mod.

Nothing wrong with a MVB in an automatic. My TH400 is RMVB and I love driving it on the street. WAY more control, and its alot more fun. I love manual cars too don't get me wrong but a 4k stall and a MVB are hella fun on the street.
If its a daily driver it might get old.
