Default 4l60e problem

my car was originally a v6 car then i put an lt1 in it with everything the motor is a 94 and i got a trans that is a 95 n then i drove it around but it didnt really wanna go anywhere it would just rev up really high then finally shift...any1 see a problem here? does it matter the year difference or that the car was originally a v6..mab bad converter?

What year is the computer controlling the transmission? 95 transmissions are a year of their own as far as the internal electronics. I like to make sure these are matched in this situation. Some guys will Mickey mouse the internal electronics to make things function but IMO it does not make sense to do so. There are other differences in the hydraulics as well. Vince

the motor and computer are 94..i have to get the car tuned can they tune it so it will function with the 94 computer
