I have one behind my bolt-on LT1 and have not had any issues with it yet. I also have a good friend of mine that had one behind a H/C LS1 with nitrous that never had any issues. Alot of people on here may try to steer you away from them, but like I said mine has worked great: SSF 3600=1.75 60ft

Some people have luck with them.. I've read enough horror stories and actually found a thread on here a while back that cut open some converters and looked the internals and posted pictures. With that said, I will never buy a TCI converter..

You get what you pay for.. go yank or vig I say.. or circle d or any of the other proven ones.

A converter isn't a place to skimp and budget.. The aftermath of a bad converter can sink deep into your pocket with tranny repair/replacement..

Do it right the first time.. Half assed is half fast..

4000 stall super street fighter TCI converter on a built 4l60E making over 500whp and daily driven. I have 5000 miles on the set-up and no problems so far. TCI is not very popular on the LS1 forums, but a lot of people have had good luck on theirs.
