just order a performabuilt trans because i lost 3-4th gear. what kind of atf are u running in your built trans?

I'm running Advance Autoparts brand Dexron-III/Mercon. Yank does not recommend synthetic with their converters.

Mine is a "built" 4l80...

If I were you I would check with the converter manufacturer and the trani builder, then make a decision.

Or.....read the stickies and do a search!
