Default tci flywheel yank converter

there was a spacer or soemthing that came with the tci flywheel that i did not install...i completely forgot it...is it very important? i got new bolts had no problem installing them...dont feel any vibrations at all...???

From what I remember reading, the bolts Yank supplies with their converters might be too short with the TCI flexplate..so might not have many threads holding it on...

i got new bolts...im concerned about the spacer???? anyone?

its a spacer that goes into the middle of the flywheel and onto the snout of the converter i think..

because the hole in the tci wheel i think it lager then the stock flywheel

anyone else? someboyy more familiar with the tci wheel...i talked to yank they said their conveter would be identicle to a stocker....so the question is do you need that spacer with a stock converter and tci wheel?

Are you running the 4L60E, or did you swap to a turbo 350/400? If it's the stock 4L60 and you upgraded the flex-plate for durability, then you should be fine. The Yank converter would have the LS1 pilot. If you swapped to the 350/400 then it could be a problem. If you told Yank it was going in a LS1, then they probably built it for the LS Motor. The pilot needs to be about 1/4" longer. If you don't have any vibrations, it is probably OK, but it could also just barley be in the crank and cause problems in the future.
