Well the 93 does have a unique electrical plug however that can be worked around to allow use of the 86 to 92 units. As for the 700 dollars shpped good luck there.

The wiring harness and plug in the 93 transmission will work only in '93 model cars. Your plug is round and has 5 pins, up until 92 they had square 4-pin connectors. The 94 is 4l60e and will not work. Your unit can be rebuilt, or your valvebody and harness can go into any 700r4. I am certain a forum vendor here can get a 93 unit together for u and u send them the core, otherwise, build the unit u have

Yes you have to bear in mind that shipping alone will be in the 125-150 range. There is just no way to do it for a rebuilt at least not decently rebuilt. Maybe someone local could do a good stock built on your for that. I would say at best online you might get a used one for that maybe but good used 700r4 is hard they have not been made since 93

WOW...so i think i found the reason why trans aint shifting right.

So there is a short 2" rod that is supposed to be in my valve body/transmission when i did my shift kit couple days ago.

Where does this go? Need a picture of it?

EDIT: forget the picture, i lost the damn thing. Where might it have gone and can i buy it somewhere?

Check out the levels and builds on our website www.performabuilt.com the prices are there also.

As for the part you mention I have no idea without either seeing it or where it goes. May be the 4th accum pin which if missing would cause some strange things 2ND gear starts. 4 gear in 3rd. Bind up in D3 in 3rd gear. Bind up in manual low 1
