Default What's a good speed for roll racing in an A4?

I'm just wondering what optimal speeds are for A4 cars with 323s out back to roll race? Where is the "dead spot" in my car? Thanks for any tips.

50-60....55 is usually the best. The A4 still sucks from a roll though in those spots unless you have a converter

I like to hit it between 23-27 mph. 25 is a great spot. Kicks down into first really nicely.

well it depends on a bunch of things, stall, gear, tire size, traction, power, engine rpm, what gear your in, etc. Everybody has their sweet spot.

Mid to high 20's is the best, downshifts to first and should take off pretty well, in an automatic car though you are really crippling yourself roll racing, auto's really shine from a stop assuming you can get it to the ground.

and assuming you can get someone to race from a dig. Most people around here will only go from rolls because they cant launch the 6 speed cars. Roll racing is for ricers and high schoolers who cant drive there cars

Well I guess that makes sense sir. But just for the record;

-my stall is stock (since it's not mentioned in my sig),

-my gears are mentioned,

-you Know I'm running 17x9s (most likely with streets(275/40/17-)streets since no DRs in sig),

-my power is something you will have to guestimate based on my mods and,

-for engine rpm and what "gear" i'm in? Well isn't that what I'm asking about in the first place?...what gear and rpm is good to start a race off in?

Anyways, hope this helps clarify things a bit. Thanks.

I'm thinking that 25 is a good start based on everyone's responses. Thanks everyone. Saves me a few red faces I'm sure
