I was wondering if the stock 4l60e torque converter was worth any money, or if there is a price they typically go for. I was just going to give it to a friend who always hooks me up with free oil changes and fluid flushes all the time.

We can get 300mm 12" cores for about 20$-40$ in Houston. Not sure about your area though. If he can use it, sounds like decent payback.
