Default which stall? would it be worth it??

im thinkin about gettin a 3600-4200 acc stall for my 00 z/28... all my mods are a slp cold air intake, diablo preadator tune, 3.73s in stock housing, and a catalytic converter removal.. how would the stall effect my driveability and what not, and around how much would the stall knock off my 1/4 mile time.. the last time i ran it was horrible like 14.3 horrible. i couldnt hook at all with the shitty tires i had..

did you do any suspension mods or get new tires since then? a stall won't help much at all if you're already having traction issues. if you can hook with that large of stall though, it can knock off almost a second.

You should focus on long tubes and a prof tune before the stall.

Definitely going to need some better tires before a converter. But it will make a world of difference at the track. You can get our 4C converter rated at 3600-3800 and it will amaze at the gains you will see, but still be quite street friendly.

i disagree. he has nothing major at the moment, and clearly plans on continuing modding. a tune will be even more beneficial and possibly required after the stall. no point in doing it twice.

Yes, a stall will make your car run like a new one. Something in the 3200-4000 range is good. Also some suspension work will help out alot.

I would recomend the stall as well. He is going to need to yune the car after the converter change so I would be prepared to do both. The converter I would recomend is our SRLS Series billt 9.5" with the stall set at 3800. You will need good tires as well no matter what you do if you want to run. 1-866-726-8358
