This would be my theory

3.23 - 2800-3600 - 35-40 mph
3.23 - 4000+ 20 mph

Good question, how about a car with 3.90 gears and a 3600 stall?

There are so many variables. It's not much more then a guess. Is your car stock? That will play a big part.

stock stall and gears you're fucked from a roll. Just punch it and pray for the best....With a 4K stall and gears, you can roll race anytime from any speed and have a good chance of holding your own.

There are way too many variables here, every car is a little different. Just see what the highest speed you can go is, while still being able to downshift in first when you floor it. In this case you will be in a high RPM range in first when it downshifts, which is your best power band.

depends...I would think getting into first (how it was with stock stall) but ever since I installed the yank3600 I have no idea what 1st feels like at over half throttle, it just blows the bald street tires I have to smoke

so right now getting high into 2nd seems to work well....around 50mph or so, gets a nice kick them when the car hits 3rd it just keeps you pinned decent until around 120ish, then it loses a little pull up until 130-135 which is as fast as I've taken it

Basically, at whatever speed you aren't limited by traction. With my 3.73s, I can't hook up below 20 (but I'm looking at getting some 555r's soon).
