converter bolts dont fit???
I bought a tci 3500 converter for my 4l60e (ls1) I am using the stock flexplate and bought arp converter bolts. THE PROBLEM: I went to install the arp bolts....but realized that the converter bolt holes are bigger for the bolts. The arp bolts push right in to the converter with out threading!!! What could be the issue here? Did i do something wrong besides use a tci converter...Do i just need to buy bigger bolts....or Have i larger issues???

I for the life of me do not understand why they use those large *** bolts. Everyone else uses M10x1.5. The issue you might run into is when using the stock flexplate, with a TCI converter, is one of the bolts holes on the FP has a slotted hole. This hole is the first one you should install a bolt through. However I believe the TCI converter holes are 7/16 fine so you might have to enlarge the FP hole a bit. Vince
